A little about me…

I've spent my entire adult life in the heart of the food and hospitality industry, from the kitchens of Belfast's top restaurants to the front-of-house at a variety of events.

My life is as interesting as my wardrobe choices (I'm colourblind, so expect some bold shirt patterns!). I live with my fiancée Rachel, two rescue Brussels Griffons (one of whom is blind), and a cat who's always keeping an eye on the kitchen.

Though I'm known for my front-of-house expertise, I love to cook, I was able to compete on the BBC’s Farm to Feast: https://bit.ly/FarmtoFeastAlexHuston. Interestingly, I was raised vegetarian and only started eating meat at 16.

When I'm not creating food content or planning my next culinary adventure, I daydream about winning the lottery. My plan? To buy a Suzuki Jimny and go on a food tour of Africa, sharing every tasty discovery with my followers.

In my free time, you guessed it, I love to eat. Whether I'm trying out a new local restaurant or cooking up something special at home, for me, every meal is a chance to explore and share the simple joys of good food.

Follow my foodie adventures, one plate at a time. Because for me, food is more than just what's on your plate—it's a story worth sharing.
